you might try upgrading to a new X release. I don't have a prosavage,
but using my bttv cards works fine on my savage4 and IX cards. Also
what program are you using to watch tv with? xawtv for example, has
two methods for displaying the data, one uses putimage(), the other
uses putvideo(). you might try using putimage() instead as putvideo()
can be problematic on some systems.
