Sounds a bit like broken ShadowStatus. Does it help if you set Option
"ShadowStatus" "false" in xorg.conf? Note that you may get lockups later
on with this, just tell me if it makes the graphics snappy again.
I'm going to start experimenting with ShadowStatus in AGP memory. I'll
send you a patch to try once I have something working.
