[Savage40] Savage Frame Buffer

Hi

I have S3 Inc. Savage 4 (rev 02) card and  I use the card TV-out with mplayer 
xv or x11 ... 

but no way for me to use TV-Out with framebuffer or VESA, anyway with fb seems 
a sync problem ... anyone knows how to do it?  or if it's possible? 

Also I have another question, i use s3switch linux binaires:

p7:~# s3switch tv pal
Devices attached:  TV
Devices active:    TV
Current TV format is NTSC-J

Savage4 cant manage that? ... seems X11 driver can do it:
(**) SAVAGE(0): TV enabled in PAL format
