I dropped Tim's original 1.1.27t xf44-driver into the driver directory, and as far as I can tell, it's now working correcly again.
Damn, that's annoying - I explicitly checked the driver version and it said 1.1.27, but apparently, they changed it without changing the version number?
That's just wrong!
