I started mergedfb support for savage and it pretty much works, there
are just a few remaining issues that need to be sorted out.  I'm not
when offhand I'll have time to finish it off.  Unfortunately, mergedfb
won't help you with the overlays.  the mobile savages have two
overlays, but I haven't been able to get the second one (for crtc2) to
enable properly, so until I sort that out the overlay is only available
on crtc1 (the LCD).  As far as tv-out goes, I don't know exactly how it
ties in.  I'm not sure if you can source it to a particular crtc or if
it's hard coded to crtc1.
