[Savage40] [Update] How to enable DRI with an S3 ProSavage DDR?

Browsing my /var/log/XFree86.0.log I've found some interesting things:

Up to now I made no modifications to my system configuration to make DRI 
work so obviously glxinfo says:

Xlib:  extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
display: :0  screen: 0
direct rendering: No

Ok... browsing /var/log/XFree86.0.log I found:

Could these errors have something to do with missing DRI support?

"version 1.1.27t"..... the same thing I was thinking to install... it's 
already there!
So... why DRI isn't working?

I already have: Load    "GLcore", Load    "dri" and "Mode    0666" in my 
XF86Config file.
