[Savage40] T22 DRI black screen

Very strange: I tried running X at a low resolution without DRI and it worked, so then I turned DRI back on and it still worked -- Except now glxgears gets 153fps when maximized, and tuxracer is playable. I don't suppose there's anyway to reload DRI when changing video modes without restarting X? Ctrl+Alt+(-/+) didn't do anything.
