Hi,
I am using
savage-20050514-linux.i386.tar.bz2
snapshot from http://dri.freedesktop.org/snapshots/
the XaaNoScreenToScreenCopy did solve the problem with the scrambled
picture in xinerama, thanks a lot...
however, the external display is still VERY slow, scrolling in firefox
is a nightmare. (it is ok on the laptop's LCD though)
Also there are some vertical stripes on screen where the image is sort
of blurred.
Could that be becaouse of the big resolution?
mergedfb: i dont need the acceleration on the dual head. I dont play
games and when i want to watch amovie, i can switch to normal layout
and use the s3switch to make my ext screen work as clone.
Should i try the CVS version of X.org? Is there any chance that this
might actually solve my problem?
thanks
HK
