for some reason the bios doesn't seem to let one crtc drive both
outputs.  the only way around it is to use separate crtcs for each
head.  ATM, this is only available with mergedfb clone modes.  I have
an old mergedfb patch I wrote for savage on my savage site
(http://www.botchco.com/alex/new-savage/savage/working/), but I'm not
sure how easy it will be to get it working as it's way out of date.  If
I ever get back to it and get it finished up, I'll make an annoucenment
here.  Dualhead will work ok with the DRI snapshots.
