[Savage40] TV out and norms ?

Hi,

I tried last week to manage the tv out of my laptop with s3switch
(thanks Tim for this prog ;-)), but i could not succeed in switching the
norm to secam (I'm probably the only french guy on the list, right?),
neither to Pal, only NTSC and NTSC japan;

Relying on the manpage, "To change the format of the TV signal, specify
either ntscj, ntsc or pal. These words will be silently ignored on
systems where a TV is not attached or not possible."

Since I succeeded in getting an image on my TV, I think it might be
possible to switch to the correct video mode, at least Pal, which must
be compatible with my equipments. I would like to know if somebody
already has the problem and how to correct it.

My xserver is the debian package of Xorg, and here is the lspci output
of my card (My laptop is an Acer Aspire 1310) :
 0000:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc. VT8375 [ProSavage8
KM266/KL266] (prog-if 00 [VGA])

Thanks in advance for the help. Infortunatly, I could not test it again
before a long time, since I have no tv anymore here. But when I could
retry I'll let you know.
