Hi!
I have installed SUSE 10.0 on my laptop Thinkpad T23 with Savage4. Xorg
version: 6.8.2 Kernel: 2.6.13-15
Now I want to use the 3D accelaration and so I have downloaded the
snapshot:
http://dri.freedesktop.org/snapshots/savage-20050718-linux.i386.tar.bz2
I have unpacked it and seen that it contains the files
"savage/savage_dri.so" and "savage/savage_drv.o". Is it enough if I move
those files to "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/" and
"/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/", respectively? Or, do I have to execute
the script "install.sh"?
What changes do I need then to make to the file xorg.conf?
I would be very grateful if someone helped me out.
Many thanks,
Gianluca
