I know what causes this, but I can't remember off hand.  There is or
was a comment in the driver about this, but I can never find it when
I'm looking for it.  IIRC, this has something to do with the BCI or GBD
and the stride, and if some register write doesn't take you get the
entire image squished into the top of the screen.  I just spent half an
hour looking and I couldn't find the comment.
