Hi Alex,

in my opinion, the most urgent issue is that reported in

  https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6357

which has been observed independently by different users. The black
"glxgears" window appeared only in "Xorg" release 7.1 whereas it was absent
in release 7.0. It would be interesting to know if you can reproduce this
issue on your notebook.
I strongly conjecture that the other cited bugs reported at "Red Hat
Bugzilla" depend on this issue.
