[Savage40] Thinkpad T23 and external monitor 1680x1050

I have been able to fix even the problem with DVD watching! I had to set 
the horizontal refresh rate to 60 Hz. SAX had calculated the modeline for 
74 Hz and that was probably too much for the S3 video card. So I used the 
command:

xmode -r 62 -x 1680 -y 1050

which produced the modeline:

"1680x1050" 147.14 1680 1784 1968 2256 1050 1051 1054 1087

I inserted that into xorg.conf and it worked right away. All flickering is 
gone even while watching DVDs.
