# Link Findings to Audits

Findings can now be linked to the specific audits they relate to, so each audit's report references are visible right in the finding details and can be unlinked in place when the scope changes. 

Until now, a finding stood on its own. If it came out of an audit, you had to track that connection somewhere else, and the report reference that backed it up lived in a different screen.

Findings can now be linked to specific audits. The finding details page has a two-step linking flow, and once linked, the audit shows up with its report references. Unlinking works in place, so a wrong association is fixed without leaving the page.

It keeps the audit trail honest. When you review a finding, you can see which audit produced it and jump straight to the report reference that supports it.
