# Origin details on consent records

Consent records now show the origin of the request that created them. Teams get a clearer audit trail when reviewing where consent activity came from across their sites and deployments. 

Each consent record now stores and displays the origin of the request. That gives reviewers a direct clue about which site or deployment the consent came from.

The origin is available in the console and in the [CLI](/docs/developers/cli/commands/consent-record) and [n8n](/docs/developers/api/n8n/resources/cookie-consent-record) consent-record views, keeping it visible wherever teams review consent activity.
