# Name your connector connections

Give each connection to the same provider a clear label, such as Production or Access review only, so admins can tell credentials and accounts apart before using or managing them. 

When the same provider has more than one connection, each one now has a required name. Label them Production, Access review only, or whatever makes their purpose obvious.

Existing connections get numbered names by provider, and you can rename them from the provider page. That makes it easier to pick the right credentials when connecting accounts or managing a connector.
