# Assigned tasks in the employee portal

Employees can view and update the tasks assigned to them from the employee portal. Task follow-through can happen in the employee workspace instead of depending on access to the main console. 

Employees can now find their assigned tasks in the employee portal and update them there. Task follow-through no longer depends on a teammate opening the main console for them.
