# Share published documents with employees

Share published documents from the console catalog with employee portal users. People who can access the portal can open shared documents and export the current published PDF. 

Share a [published document](/docs/product/document-management) from the console catalog and it appears in the employee portal for people who have portal access. They can open it and export the current published PDF.

The catalog is searchable and paged, so admins can find documents to share as the list grows.
