The team keeps growing. After some construction work at the office (new chairs, new rooms), we were ready to welcome new people. And with them came a batch of new features in Probo.
Here’s what changed in September, and what it means for you.
Key takeaways
- The team grew by four (and two more with paws).
- The Probo Cookie Banner applies the right privacy rules for each visitor’s jurisdiction, records every consent, and is open source.
- Platform customers can now book an internal audit or pre-audit with our compliance team.
- Everything in Probo is scriptable through a GraphQL API, a CLI and an MCP server.
- The Device Agent removes device screenshots from your next audit.
Four new faces at Probo (and two more)
Lina, Ludovic, Rami and Edwin joined the team.
If you visit the office, you’ll meet two more. Panko is our Chief Happiness Officer and Mutex is our Office Security Officer. Believe us, our office security is ISO certified. 🐾

One cookie banner for every privacy law your visitors fall under
Your visitors don’t all live under the same privacy law. A banner built for GDPR is wrong for a visitor in California, and the reverse is just as true.
The Probo Cookie Banner works out each visitor’s jurisdiction and applies the right rules. Every consent is recorded with an anonymized IP, so you have proof when someone asks. Your cookie policy is generated from your live configuration, which means it stays in sync with what the banner actually does.
It’s open source (MIT) and ships in 14 languages.

See the Cookie Banner or talk to us about putting it on your site.
Running compliance in-house? Get an internal audit from us
ISO 27001 requires an internal audit. Even when it isn’t required, it’s a good dry run before your external auditor shows up.
Platform customers who manage their compliance on Probo can now book an internal audit or pre-audit with us. Our compliance team reviews your program and tells you what to fix before your auditor finds it.
Probo fits into your stack, not the other way around
Everything you can do in the Probo console, you can also do in code or low-code: a full GraphQL API, a CLI, and an MCP server for AI agents.
A few things customers build with it:
- Sync training results into Probo as evidence.
- Build your own dashboard of unsigned policies, device checks and access reviews.
- Push Probo tasks to your issue tracker.
Your next audit, without the device screenshots
Collecting laptop screenshots from every employee is the most tedious part of most audits. It doesn’t have to be.
With the Device Agent, employees enroll their laptops themselves from the employee portal. From then on, every check is logged with a timestamp, so device evidence is ready when the auditor asks. If you haven’t rolled it out yet, now is a good time.

Also shipped in September
- 9 new access review sources: GCP, Azure, OVHcloud, MongoDB Atlas, Attio, ElevenLabs, New Relic, Retool and Twingate.
- Linear integration: link your Probo tasks to Linear issues.
- Webhooks now send task events and show the delivery history.
- Cmd+K opens page search anywhere in the console.
Want someone to run it for you?
Tools speed up compliance work. They don’t own the outcome. If you’d rather keep your engineers on the product, Probo can manage your compliance end to end with a dedicated, human compliance officer.
